LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!
In this corner the Ultimate Capitolist Economy on the planet.
In this corner The federal Government.
Which is more Greedy?
The private sector is supply and demand.
Supply meets demand and a fair price is arrived at.
The government is demand and supply.
Demand (Taxes) rarley meets supply (Services promised for said tax, Mostly beyond what the Constitution allows).
When demand outstrips supply greed can creep in and there is potential for greed in both corners.
The Greedy nature of government is to find any way to take money from the people who work for it, for the sake of financing programs that are woefully inept or are a complete waste of money.
There is no end to this Greed. Oh yes it is greed! They look to tax anything that can be, and things that should be free in a free country.
Now they want to tax the air in the name of carbon credits. Not to clean up the air. OH NOOO! Just to make companys pay for the right to create emmisions that "May" cause "Climate Change". This is greed pure and simple. What a ruse.
They want to tax the air waves with a "Performance tax". What a crock of greed. Who's going to pay for that? You guessed it, you! (if you work).
Its never enough for the people in government and the special intrests that have their hands in the pie. Even now with all the trillions and trillions (think Carl Segan) of dollars printed out of thin air, Its not enough. The greed that eminates from Washington is a disgrace and an "off the rails" direction that must be changed.
This is the difference between private and public sector greed. The private sector's greed has the same roots as the public sector's greed, its greedy people! But the public sector has no limits on its ability to be as greedy as it wants to be. They make the rules and the Constitution be damed.
The Mortgage melt down is a direct result of greed of both public and private intrests. Easy money meant more money being made with questionable tactics and TAXED. And after everyone got their money the tax payer ended up with the bill for making up the losses that resulted from pure greed.
Why is there no perp walk, or at least an ousting of the people that caused it.
Where is all that money?
Our representatives are not doing their jobs. They are often raising reelection money rather than reading the ginormous bills that they regularly sign ,not knowing what the hells in it. And they're the ones that are supposed to know whats happening with our hard earned money.
Greed is prevelant in our government. Evidence two "stimulus" plans, bank bailouts, mortgage bailouts, car bailouts, you name it. Did you get some of that? Are you stimulated? Didn't think so.
Where is all that money?
This will stifle our productivity and is all ready pummeling our economy. So for now the public sector is winning the greedy fight. But not by much. Lets hope there are enough rounds left for, We The People, to referee our way out of this cycle of governmental greed, for the sake of our freedom and prosperity.
